Berat Arifoğlu Zaimoğlu, who graduated from Notre Dame de Sion French High School in 2008, continued her bachelor’s degree at Koç University Psychology Department and graduated in 2013 with the Vehbi Koç Honor Award. She then graduated from Okan University Clinical Psychology Master’s Degree (Adult Module) in 2016. She has completed her internships in child & adolescent and adult psychiatry services and private psychiatry clinics.

She completed the "Cognitive Therapy Workshop Certificate Program and 120 hours (3 years) Beck Oriented Cognitive Therapy Supervision" that given by Dr. Emel Stroup within CBTİstanbul. She completed Schema Therapy training under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Gonca Soygüt Pekak & Dr. Psy. Esra Ersayan and became an ISST Approved Schema Therapist in 2020. She worked with children, adolescents and families in different preschools. Then she gave training and seminars to corporate companies in a special employee support program and provided psychological support to employees.

Between 2017 and 2021, while continuing giving psychotherapy in the clinic, she also worked with university students at Özyeğin University Psychological Development Unit and Sabancı University Psychotherapy Unit.

She gave Schema Therapy-1 and Schema Therapy-2 courses at Istanbul Rumeli University between 2021-2023. Currently, she manages the "Use of Experiential Techniques in Schema Mode Studies" workshop with Dr. Psy. Esra Ersayan, continues giving psychotherapy to adults at her clinic Rena Psychology and teaches Schema Therapy and Cognitive Therapy courses to Clinical Psychology Master's students at Bahçeşehir University.

She is a member of Academy of Cognitive Therapies, International Society of Schema Therapy and the Turkish Psychologists Association.
